Fashion: Clueless... in 2011

I recently had a AS IF?! moment and I thought maybe clueless isn't so clueless afterall. Could it be that we should be taking fashion clues from the classic 90's movie. Of course Jenny would argue plaid never goes out of style and I have to say there's nothing like a good cardigan and collared shirt :) Today we still invest in American Apparel knee highs and sometimes substitute with tube socks under our heels. Urban Outfitters along with H&M have produced their fair share of button down skirts. So let's look back and go forward.

Fashion: Proenza Schouler...

After flipping through a few magazines such as W, Elle and Harper's Bazaar I couldn't help but notice how many times I came across Proenza Schouler pieces. Sometimes it was on the model and other times it was listed in "what to buy now" Anyhow I have developed a love for the printed trousers and tribal inspired patterns along with the stand out colors chosen. Not to mention Proenza's leather goods are something to cherish, their bags and wallets manage to look simple while looking super expensive and fashionable. I could go on and on about how wonderful this rising brand is but instead here is the Fall 2011 show (above) to refer to, in addition to a few pictures I just had to include. Now keep in mind I don't love everything in the show but everything is interesting .....and the rest i love.

Music: Wiz makes his mark on his Euro Tour

This is rather entertaining, and kind of shows wiz isn't just portraying an image ... this is him and real life.
My only worry is that he might break something on stage lol and perhaps he'll never get the mic.., must watch to understand ;).

Music: Erick Arc Elliott

So Erick Arc Elliott is my latest obsession.
His music is very different and even refreshing. A mix of soul, alternative hip hop and brooklyn vibes... give it a try.

Fashion: What Feels Right

What feels right...

Music: Lay It On Me - Kelly Rowland Ft. Big Sean

Is it just me or does our favorite under rated singer, got her groove back. Although Beyonce takes the most attention after Destiny's Child no one can deny that Kelly is workin it with her singles Motivation and Lay It On Me. Whatever guy is inspiring all this sexual expression ....I applaud you.
- I like this ... plus the Big Sean feature doesn't hurt .. wish it were longer but its short and clever instead.

"She called my Dick curiosity cuz it killed the cat... N satisfaction brought her back, girl it's yo world I'm just chillin on da map" hahaha

Health&Wellness: The Pill or not the Pill?

The pill or not the pill?

That is the question: whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer the spotting and vomiting of outrageous hormones.

My fellow maidens, I am absolutely torn. Is the pill really that awful? Are the side effects worth it in the end? While I would love to have the protection the pill provides, I can’t imagine looking down at my underwear and wanting to scream, “Out damned spot, out!” Shorter periods sound enticing but there seems to be a price to pay. Some say that spotting, vomiting, nausea, weight gaining, and the tenderness of breasts are rarities. Are they? And if they aren’t, do they last forever? Even if they do, perhaps the safety of the pill is worth it (one can never trust those Romeos can they)?
